A Book Club is a great thing to experience. If you have never done it, I suggest you join one. It is fun and exciting to do. The first thing you would have to do is make a list of book titles you would like to read. Actually, have everyone come up with three book titles they all want to read. Vote on one and start your journey.
Reading transports you to a different place every time. Places you have only dreamt about. You can always find a book about somewhere you would like to visit. Which will become reality for you in the future. Now back to the reading club. The next step is to select a stopping point, so you can discuss at your next meeting. Also select the place to meet. I suggest you gather in the place of the person who chose the book. And make a schedule for your next meeting. Remember to take notes while you read and write down questions to ask the Book Club members. This is where the fun begins.
Make it a Book Club to remember
When you meet there will probably be many debates about what you have just read. Not probably I am sure there will be many debates. Not everyone will agree because not everyone thinks the same and interprets things the same way either. That is when sometimes the discussion can get heated up. That is the perfect time you take a break from discussing the book, it is also time for all to take a Glass of Fine Wine and enjoy it so you can calm down and continue with your discussion. After the day is over, everyone goes home and continues reading again until the next meeting. When the book has been read completely, and your last meeting is in session you need to vote on the next book to read. You do this until everyone in the group has read at least one book from each participant. Then you continue with the next book on the list and continue until every book has been read.
Reading gives you the power of knowledge. You will learn new words and start to use them. Your vocabulary will be even fuller than today. Why don’t you organize or join one today. I am telling you you will have fun and start to invite others to join. Like the famous phrase states “the more the merrier”.
